This wine is an exceptional representation of why Lodi has become world known for its Old Vine Zinfandel. Multiple times this wine has been chosen as one of the Zins of Lodi! This 2019 vintage offers deep spice, with big berry flavors, pepper, but still resonates with a fantastic smooth finish..especially for a Zin. It is very well balanced and while a classic Old Vine Zinfandel, it doesn't kill the taste buds and is fantastically fruit forward. This wine is hand-picked and spends about 18 months in new mostly French and a few American Oak barrels.
